Throughout her career Kelly was tapped as an internal “coach” and for leadership roles in organization-wide change initiatives. She developed a “leadership from the inside-out” philosophy over two decades of leading teams through significant transition. In 1999 she earned the moniker “Coach Kelly” and later became a Puget Sound Business Journal “40 under Forty” leadership honoree. This sparked the idea to make her consistent passion for developing leaders and leadership teams the focus of her work.
Prior leadership roles include:
President of a national Information Technology services company. A parent company to smaller firms, and partial owner of a Tribal 8(a) company, the role required a three-fold focus: serving federal government agencies (including earning a federal Full Secret security clearance), mentoring Tribal 8(a) organizations and smaller firms, and developing a culture of "ownership thinking" at every level to support the founder's goal to become a 100% employee-owned company.
Director of Core Services (Finance, HR and IT) of a national Information Technology consulting firm to address the "growing pains" of an expanding client base and corresponding geographic footprint.
Regional Program Manager for a privately held, international Management Consulting firm, specializing in organization development, financial reporting, and process improvement programs.
Regional Director of Operations for the Digital Media division of a publicly held international Experiential Marketing company specializing in branding, eLearning and international launch events.
Client Services Group Manager for a leading Seattle-based Branding and Graphic Design Firm.

Raised in a family transferred every three years by IBM (fondly referred to as “I’ve Been Moved”), Kelly became fluent in a second language and attended an international K-12 school. The experience greatly informed Kelly’s comfort and facility in working with diverse leaders and organizational cultures. Kelly and her partner of 22 years and their two adopted cats now live in the greater Seattle area.
