Then we collaborate on building our shared plan for getting from "here" to "there." This may include identifying additional "stakeholders" key to our process, and clarifying strengths to leverage and gaps to address that may be limiting your potential to sustainably deliver meaningful results. Our Coaching Modalities In service of our geographically diverse client base, we offer the following options:
Phone Coaching (generally 7AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday, pacific time) This provides the greatest schedule flexibility and lowest carbon footprint. It is a great option for those located in other countries and/or other parts of the United States, and/or who require the greatest schedule flexibility given their own variable work schedule, locations and/or travel requirements.
Video Coaching (generally 7AM to 6PM, pacific time; days of week vary based on coach location) This provides good schedule flexibility and minimal carbon footprint. It is also a great option for those located in other countries and/or other parts of the United States who find it helpful to have a "face-to-face" session despite the physical distance.
In-Person Coaching (generally 8AM to 4PM; time zone and days of week vary based on coach location) This option may require longer wait times to schedule and/or greater expense (and carbon footprint) depending on the location and timing. However, it is often a preferable modality, at least for the kickoff and/or alternating sessions as schedules allow. Options include:
You travel to your Coach: Meeting in greater Seattle/Bellevue, Washington, USA
Your Coach travels to you: Variable fees and expenses will apply based on location and timing
Customized Modalities: We also offer customized approaches tailored to your specific program needs. For example, team development, group coaching and/or team offsite and workshop facilitation programs have different requirements. We will collaborate with you to customize a solution that is most effective in meeting your timing and desired outcome goals.

Recommended Steps Although every journey is unique, the following are examples of the steps we may choose to take together:
Introductory Session This is typically a 30-45 minute conversation via phone or video call, which can usually be scheduled within two weeks. If you are in the Bellevue/Seattle, Washington, area and can wait a little longer, we can work to arrange an in-person meeting at a convenient location if preferred.
Confirm Fit A coaching relationship is a special kind of partnership, and mutual fit is key to our ability to be effective together. There are also a variety of specialties and nuances to professional coaching, which we can talk through to ensure we align the best resources for your needs at this time.
Outline Our Coaching Engagement & Confirm Agreement This includes clarifying your desired outcomes, and what approach and cadence will best support your ability to meet them. A variety of payment methods are available. The most common include:
Individual, direct-pay: A Coaching Program rate customized to your desired outcome goals.
Sponsored by your organization: Program, Half-Day, Full-Day and Retainer rate options available.
Draft Our Coaching Plan This is a collaborative process between you and your coach. If an organization is sponsoring your sessions, an important step will be to identify key "stakeholders" to include in this process to confirm alignment, and the ongoing support you will receive from your "sponsor." For example, objectives may include the desire to prepare you for increased responsibility within the organization, which may include assessment instruments, customized 360-degree interviews, an internal mentor, reframing your one-on-one sessions with your direct manager, or other items requiring the support and engagement of your sponsor/sponsoring organization.
Implement Our Coaching Plan We will begin regular sessions based on our agreed arrangement and foster an active partnership focused on accomplishing your desired outcomes.
Milestone Check-Ins This includes regular two-way feedback throughout our sessions to maintain our partnership and to ensure we are tracking to the desired outcomes. If we are working together via a sponsoring organization, this may also include a periodic three-way check-in meeting between you, me and your sponsor to help them support your progress on-site and in real-time.
Transition As your progress builds momentum and becomes more self-sustaining, we will wind down our engagement and outline ways for you to sustain your growth long-term. It is not our goal to keep you dependent on coaching. Instead, we will collaborate to build your own practices, skills, and related capabilities (and additional support systems as-needed) so the progress realized through our collaboration continues to serve you for years to come.
Re-Engage When Ready It is not unusual for our clients to return to us time and again as they define "new mountains" to climb. For example, as you are promoted into new roles, acquiring a new team, transferred to a business unit in another country, on-boarding to a new organization, or even spinning off your own business as an entrepreneur. Our greatest sense of meaning comes from your long-term success, so it is a great honor and pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you again as you continue on your journey to personal and professional mastery.
